What is a department style craft show?
A department style craft show is set up like a boutique. Rather than having each vendor set up a booth, we group like items together just like at your favorite department store. For example, if you are hoping to score an eye-catching handmade hair piece, visit the accessories section where you will find all that and more. Neat!
Is there an admission fee?
No way, totally free. Bring a friend or three.
Where is the Regional Arts Center?
RAC is located in the Loop at 6128 Delmar Boulevard, Saint Louis, MO 63112. RAC is across from The Pageant Theater and Pi Pizza. www.art-stl.com
Where should I park?
Free parking is available in the lot across the street and behind The Pageant Theater, as well as in the adjacent MetroLink lot.
Can I pay with a credit card or personal check?
We gladly accept cash or credit cards. No checks, please.
What is Tenth Life?
Tenth Life Cat Rescue is a cat-only rescue operating in St. Louis area. Although they promote the welfare of all cats, their emphasis is helping strays, the injured or abused, and kitties with special needs. Tenth Life is currently a foster-home organization; their goal is to raise enough money to have a cage-free shelter in downtown St. Louis. How can I support Tenth Life?
We will be taking donations for Tenth Life during the Craft-O-Matic show at the check-out. Prepare to ooh and awww because we’ll have a kitty cat peep show with several adoptable cute and cuddly cats at Craft-O-Matic.
Will I find cool and unique handmade goodies?
Absolutely! With more than 60 vendors, there’s a boatload of great stuff.
Will I get to make cool stuff while I am there?
You can go upstairs to the Craft Room and peruse our free make-and-take projects or even sign up to take a crafty class with the teachers of MADE Collective! Class offerings will be available online soon.
Will there be food or drinks at Craft-O-Matic?
We will not have food or drinks at the event, but if your tummy starts rumbling, just step outside and pop into one of the great restaurants or bars in The Loop.
